Staff Writer Hubbard’s Soccer J.V. Team won the City Championship on October 15, 2012. Winning first place against Kelly High School, the score was 3 to 1. Both teams gave all they had. They kept shooting at the goalie and nothing happened until the second half. At the second, Kelly scored the first goal and Hubbard was down by one. In the last ten minutes Hubbard scored the first goal made by Giovanni Perez. Then, Carlos Jimenez, with an injured arm, took a good shot at the goalie and scored the third goal, winning the First Place plate for Hubbard High School. As the team motto goes “Go hard or go home."
