April 7, 2016 Dealing with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) can be difficult if you do not have a Social Security Card (SSC). Unfortunately, this affects students all across America because they are undocumented and cannot receive an SSC. March 21, 2016 Seniors get ready we are about to end the journey we started four years ago. Those four years have seemed like they’d take forever, but now we are preparing to spend our last times together as a class. One of the main events we have all been waiting on is prom which has taken a lot of planning by Mrs. Breslin, Art teacher and prom coordinator, and the senior class officers who are open to suggestions from seniors. THE LAST ACT TEST?Hubbard’s 2016 Junior class will take the ACT test for the last time on May 3rd after it was edged out by the SAT. The ACT test was a graduation requirement for all CPS students for 15 years. Of course, you can always opt to take the ACT instead of the SAT, but it will no longer be paid for by the state. In honor of the last (free) ACT test, we present some tips for the juniors going through this rite of passage. Good luck!
